The theme chosen for the 2012 parade and festivities is "Celebrating the Spirit of America"
The day's festivities will begin at 10:00 AM with the 50th Annual Parade. Our Honorary Grand Marshal will be Lieutenant General James Kowalski, United States Air Force. Our Grand Marshal is Don Ryan, this year's recipient of the Citizen of the Year Award. As in years past, the parade will start at the Butler County Fairgrounds, proceed to Route 4 and then to High Street. It will conclude just past the Butler… Show more County Court House on Front Street. There will be a patriotic ceremony with music, a speech by Lieutenant General James Kowalski, color and pageantry immediately following the parade at the historic Butler County Court House. The parade is sponsored by the Michael J. Colligan Fund of the Hamilton Community Foundation and the 4th of July Committee.
The Taste of Hamilton will be downtown around the Courthouse and there will be several bands playing from 3 pm until the Fireworks.
