We dine here frequently and bring many of our out of town guests who have not visited a Spag House. The menu is great and the food is always wonderful. Highly recommend!
Great Food, usually excellent value, maybe need new management...
We as a family enjoy the great value on Wednesday at our local Spaghetti Warehouse (5th Street) because it is $5 spaghetti night. I can say we get takeout 2-3 times a month, usually on Wednesdays and the occasional time we get a buy 1 get 1 coupon. Other than that, the menu is a bit hefty for a family of 5, but we always get a good product. The last time we ordered we got our usual, 3 $5 spaghettis w/ meat sauce and one side of spaghetti noodles & a side of alfredo sauce, as my wife does not agree with tomatoes so well. I say we ordered our usual because we order this 2-3 times a month, without any problem (w/ the side of spaghetti and alfredo it comes close in price to the $5 spaghetti). This time, we were given the spaghetti w/ alfredo sauce and were charged over $10! When we called, my wife had the pleasure of speaking to the "General Manager" Kelly, which normally means customer satisfaction is of the utmost concern. Not this time. He was rude to my wife and said that "they were trying to curtail that sort of thing..." Curtail orders from paying customers? You mean to tell me someone with a tomato allergy, or allergies to something in the particular spices contained in red sauce and the answer Spaghetti Warehouse has is to gouge them on a substitution? How much is a side of spaghetti, a side of alfredo, I'm sure this is no strange 1-time occurrence....Would you not accept the order of someone wishing to order alfredo on the side to possibly mix with their red sauce, or to dip their breadsticks? This man was rude, unapologetic for price-gouging, and offered no solution, acceptable or otherwise. Until he is moved on, I suggest to eat the food exactly the way they say if you want to be able to afford your rent, or tuition.
