Why meddle with a successful recipe? Good question, this restaurant answers it. Homey down to earth steakhouse. Impressed with good and low level service, in other words unobtrusive.

The steaks are excellent. The side dishes with the exception of the potato sides are OK at best. I had the Porterhouse House Trim which I expected to be small but turned out to be pretty darned big! Done excellently and a fine cut of beef. I was not impressed with the stewed tomatoes and the salad that came with the dinner was unimaginative though the Bleu Cheese dressing was excellent. Pretty much Iceberg Lettuce with cosmetic concession to carrots and other vegetables.

Outstanding beef, service and wine list. We ordered a bottle of Malbec that turned out to be out of stock so we were offered a higher priced Malbec at the same price. That was very generous of the bartender.

Highly recommend. Remember, cash/check only, no reservations and no dessert!
